Today, August 23, 2016, marks the 6th anniversary of Dalton & Tomich PLC. We are so very grateful to our families, partners, clients and friends for making this firm a reality. Our success is based on your confidence and support, something that we are both mindful and appreciative of.
It is wonderful to reflect on where we have been and exciting to think about where we are going. As a firm we are more focused then ever on our relationships with clients and being the best in our practice areas. Our Michigan and Detroit land use and zoning practice is growing by leaps and bounds. We continue to lead the way in religious land use and zoning throughout the United States and look forward to the release of the second book on Litigating Religious Land Use Cases in September. Our food services practice area is garnering attention through “The Field” and we celebrate that we can be the resource for Chefs, Restaurant Owners in the ever-changing world of food services. This area has flowed over into our creative agency work, which, evolves daily through the needs of our clients. At the same time, we have leveraged our relationship with banking clients and business clients by integrating them with our food services, creative services and religious organizations.
We are excited about our future. Our next chapter will certainly include the expansion of our practice areas as well as narrowly focusing on local Churches who seek to free themselves of denominations who have abandoned them years ago but cling tightly to trust clauses to hold on to local Church property. We will continue to work with charitable bin donation companies who place donation bins in cities throughout the nation and defend Free Speech whenever requested.
So thank you. Thank you for your friendship, your encouragement and your business. And thank you for being a part of our lives. We look forward to another year of service to you.
