Pauline Pensler practices in all areas of civil litigation and devotes a substantial portion of her practice to providing clients with counsel and analysis regarding complex, religious land-use issues. She also regularly assists clients in land use and zoning and employment disputes. Pauline is licensed to practice in the State of Michigan, the Federal Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, and the Sixth Circuit. Ms. Pensler received her J.D. from University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, cum laude, in 2007. There, she was awarded Book Awards in Legal Writing, First Amendment Law and Employment Discrimination.

She also received the Dean’s Tutorial Assistants Scholarship and was a member of the Moot Court Board of Advocates, where she successfully competed in many competitions. Ms. Pensler was listed in Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges for 2007, and was a three-time recipient of CALI’s Excellence for the Future Awards. Before attending law school, Ms. Pensler received her B.A., with distinction, from the University of Michigan.
